The Goddard School, a nationally acclaimed early childhood education franchise, is set to open in Nocatee in late 2024. The Goddard School of Nocatee will be located at the intersection of Preservation Trail and Colonnade Drive.
“We are thrilled to bring The Goddard School to the Nocatee community, where the demand for high-quality childcare continues to grow,” says Liz Scott, owner of The Goddard School of Nocatee. “We look forward to fostering a lifelong love for learning in our students, and we are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment where our little learners will thrive.” Liz Scott is the owner of three other area Goddard Schools.
The new school will feature 15,000 square feet with 12 classrooms to provide care for approximately 240 students. It will also include an indoor gymnasium, a STEAM room, an outdoor sport court, an outdoor learning classroom, an outdoor amphitheater and a turf athletic field alongside multiple playground structures. Additionally, the school will be equipped with hospital grade sanitization equipment to ensure a healthy environment. 
With a focus on exploration, learning and social-emotional growth, The Goddard School uses a play- and inquiry-based approach grounded in the most current academically endorsed methods in early childhood education to nurture the extraordinary in every child. Children can explore and discover music and art, learn how to communicate using sign language and secondary languages, and develop problem solving skills through play. Moreover, Goddard Schools across the country offer Life Lesson Library, Goddard’s proprietary program that features a collection of best sellers and long-time favorite books designed to help children develop skills like self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision-making.
