Going on a family outing to a sporting event is a great way to make memories your children will always cherish. Whether your sport is baseball, football, basketball, golf or soccer, Northeast Florida offers plenty of opportunities for fans of all ages.
Football
The Jacksonville Jaguars have been an integral part of the city’s culture for more than 20 years. At the stunning TIAA Bank Field, Jaguar fans and guests can experience the ultimate game day, complete with cabanas, swimming pools and the world’s largest video screens flanking the field on both sides. In past years, Nocatee residents have enjoyed special home game day shuttles to the stadium and organized pep-rallies (that included current and former players) within the community.
If you love football, but also the indoors, then mark your calendar for a Jacksonville Sharks game. The Jacksonville Sharks are a professional indoor football league with high-energy games in the Jacksonville VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. For further involvement, attendees also have the chance to dress-up for fun "theme nights" presented by local sponsors.
Baseball
Bragan Field at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville is a great venue for watching Jacksonville's Triple-A Minor League Baseball Team take to the diamond and root, root, root for the home team. There’s sure to be plenty of excitement in the stands every time the talented Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp team takes the field. The Nocatee community is located only 20 miles from the Jumbo Shrimp Stadium, and many residents purchase season tickets, enjoying games and special events throughout the entire baseball season. Hot dogs, peanuts and cold drinks always seem to taste better at a ballpark!
Golf
Located only 10 miles from Nocatee in Ponte Vedra, THE PLAYERS Championship is THE golf event of the year in Florida. As the unofficial “fifth major” tournament of The PGA, this event draws in crowds from all over the world. And it’s a great place to bond with your golf buddies on the pristine course of TPC Sawgrass.
Soccer
With all of the buzz surrounding soccer, Jacksonville fans are always eager to help cheer on the city's first professional soccer team, the Jacksonville Armada Football Club. The city is home to a great deal of avid soccer fans and has proudly hosted several international games. The Jacksonville Armada Football Club is stronger than ever and looking forward to a suspenseful season and the loyal Jacksonville fan base that is sure to accompany.

ockey
The Jacksonville Icemen Hockey Team is a minor league hockey team, formerly known as the Evansville Icemen. The team began their first season in the city in October 2017 with a season stretching until April 2018. Families and spectators rave about the intensity of the game and the family-friendly festivities the team hosts for the community.
Basketball
The four-time American Basketball Association (ABA) National Champions, the Jacksonville Giants, ensure an action-packed viewing experience for your whole family. The Jacksonville Giants are also home to the largest dance team in the ABA, so halftime at Jacksonville VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena is an event all its own. Fans look forward to cheering them on to more victories in the coming seasons!
